Basic assembly includes: preparation of a cooling system up to 3 m in a groove or installation duct, penetration through an external wall, preparation of a condensate drainage system (gravity) outside at the unit, preparation of a power supply up to 6 m between the unit and the nearest electrical line in the room, and communication between the unit and the internal unit, assembly of the unit on anti-vibration bases, assembly of the internal unit, checking the tightness of the system, preparation of a vacuum, filling with refrigerant, start-up of the device. Applies to devices with a power of 1.5 to 4.2 kW.

Much depends on the level of complexity of the installation. If we are dealing with a large distance between the generator and the internal unit, and the installation requires furrowing the walls, it is necessary to penetrate reinforced concrete, the installation may take up to a whole day.

The cost of installing air conditioning in an apartment depends on many factors, such as the type of device, the difficulty of installation, the number of internal units, and the location of installation. The cost of the air conditioner itself varies depending on the brand and model, as well as its efficiency. If we are dealing with a simple installation, the so-called “Installation through the wall”, the length of the cooling system does not exceed 3 meters, there are no breakthroughs in reinforced concrete, there is no need to use condensate pumps, the full cost of installing the system and installing the device should be between PLN 1,500 and PLN 1,800. The cost of the device itself should be added to this amount. If we choose one of the basic models, the total cost to be reckoned with is an amount from PLN 3,500 upwards. We must remember that additional work on preparing the installation and choosing a premium device can significantly increase the final cost.
